A brief history of the Barge
Besse as pleasure vessel
"Besse" Built in Trondheim, Norway 1917, 60 tonnes.
Commercial Norwegian Fjords barge until 1992
Converted to pleasure cruiser in UK and sailed to France in 1998
July 2008 - purchased by current owners & sailed 1800 km back to England
May 2009 - conversion to restaurant begins
BESSE trip back from South France
The owners aquired the barge in perpignan
